Product Portfolio
Summary: Draftworx offers two core platforms — a Desktop application and a cloud web application — both automating financial statement drafting and assurance working papers, with WebSync bridging the two and XBRL available as an embedded capability.
Draftworx Desktop
Draftworx Desktop is an installed Windows application licensed annually per user. It provides unlimited client files and is available in multiple editions (Prac, Corp SME, Corp IFRS) targeting different practice sizes and reporting framework requirements. The Desktop product offers a 14-day trial. It supports the same range of entity types, reporting standards (IFRS, IFRS SME, FRS 102/102(1A)/105), and engagement types (audit, review, compilation, agreed-upon procedures) as the Cloud product. Trial balance import is supported from Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks, Xero, CaseWare, and Excel. Desktop licensing is per user; client files are unlimited.
Draftworx Cloud
Draftworx Cloud is a web-browser-based platform offering the same financial statement and working-paper automation as the Desktop product, accessed over the internet. It is priced per entity per financial year (pay-as-you-use), with unlimited users per account and unlimited client files. Cloud portals are separated by region: cloud.draftworx.com for South Africa/Africa and cloud.draftworx.co.uk for UK/Ireland. A free demo client file is available. The Cloud product includes 1GB of storage per account.
WebSync
WebSync is a hybrid connector that enables seamless movement of entity files between the Desktop and Cloud platforms. It allows practices that use both products to avoid re-keying data when switching between environments.
XBRL
XBRL taxonomy embedding is available within IFRS and IFRS SME templates, enabling 5-minute iXBRL submissions. This is described as a built-in capability of those templates rather than a standalone product.
Risk Assessment Component (RAC)
RAC is described as a "premier audit methodology" add-on within the engagement working papers module, featuring scalable risk assessment, a cycle-based approach, and sampling automation. It is positioned as the advanced audit tier.
